Hi,

Are you Malaysian visiting Myanmar soon?  You need a visa!  Follow these easy steps and you'll never be wrong!

Prepare these:

(1) Form for Tourist Visa (can be download at myanmarembassy-kl.org or print out my attach)
(2) Two Photos with White Background
(3) Passport original and copy
(4) KUL-YGN-KUL Return Air Ticket

The price is RM 140 per person and can be collected at the same date of submission time 8:00 to 12:30 am and collection time 4:30 to 5:30 pm.

Where to submit:

DO NOT go to Myanmar Embassy in KL!  Bring all the above to EVER FINE TRAVEL & TOURS.  Effective Oct 2013, Myanmar visa application is outsourced to this agent.  Contact details of the agent is attached.

Good luck!

Good afternoon Wan,

Thanks a lot for sharing the process to apply for Myanmar visa in Kuala Lumpur, I'm sure it's gonna be useful.

The paper is only one page? They are not asking you for working information as they do in Thailand?

Is it mandatory to have the round trip ticket also?

Sorry I'm comparing to Bangkok, since I use to do my applications there when I need it.

Cheers,

Max

Hello Max,

I submitted my application this afternoon and will collect it tomorrow.  As simple as that.  Only one page form, passport, photos, round trip ticket and MYR140 (about USD44).  This is only for tourist visa.  Maybe for business visa they will require more supporting documents.

I'm going to Bagan and Inle, staying one night at each place.  I know it's too short time to discover all.  I will come back to Myanmar next year :)

Wow, yeah it is quite short indeed !!
How do you get there? Bagan by bus from Yangon and then bus to Inle and back to Yangon? You don't have time to stay over night in Bagan and Inle then right?
Good choice to go to these two place anyway, you'll enjoy a lot!

Yes by bus.  I plan to stay overnight but too busy with work I don't have time to smooth out the plan yet.

Yeah, that's a tough journey you planned for yourself !! You won't get a lot of rest along the way...

What time will you arrive in Inle with the day bus from Bagan? Will it let you enough time to see around Inle Lake and take boat ride on the Lake on the 29th? It's quite a short stay there...

Enjoy the journey

Indeed it is a short stay and seems quite a rush but I believe I'll see the best of each place.  Most of the bus trips are at night so that save the cost for accommodation and I get to spend the whole day visiting places.  It is not my intention to see everything during this trip. It should give me reason to come back soon :)

I think I'll arrive Inle at 4pm on 28/12 and leaving the next day by 7pm bus.  Not much time but I do have time to see around and the boat ride is a must!

Excited!
