what parts of Yangon can a motorcycle be ridden in

Hi all. I am getting some motor bikes delivered to Yangon in march to ride to the beaches, what parts of Yangon are out of bounds as I want to organize a delivery point where we can ride out of town to the beaches. cheers James

Most of the Yangon area is not allowed officially to ride bicycle. But people ride bicycle and use it for transportation in outside of downtown like Mingalardon and shwe pyi thar.. 

 

You  can ride bicycle after passing through the hlaing tharyar bridge (The  bridge situated on the way to beach and after passing that township, the area will be in the area of Irrawaddy. ) So you can start legally riding..

To go to the beach, you've to use Yangon-Pathein road. The Yangon area will end after 5km passing through the Hlaing Tharyar Bridge. So, to be safe, you need to carry your motorcycle to the end of Yangon area.
