    Hello Mingalagyis,

I thought this would be useful to some of our foreign members and maybe for some Burmese people as well.

I have just installed Zawgyi fonts and keyboard today on my Macbook and I got to say it is pretty easy, it is a 5 step installation and will take you only about a few minutes.

You can find the .dmg file to download on this link and explanation on how to install:

    http://unobusa.org/2010/10/30/zawgyi-font-in-a-mac-osapple-video/

Be sure to disable (no need to remove) both “Myanmar MN” and “Myanmar Sangam MN” fonts if they are already installed in your font book (Mac OS 10.7 and older already installed) otherwise you will have a conflict between Zawgyi and these Unicode fonts.

    Cheers,

    Max

Yeah it’s great, I have tried the installation on my device and now I can read all Burmese words on the forum.

I just need to learn how to speak, write and read in Burmese now hahaha 🙂

    You’re most welcome guys !!

It’s been a while that I was willing to install Zawgyi but didn’t do it, it’s very simple to install and quite easy to deactivate if you want to go back to Unicode fonts.

Hope it will be useful indeed :).

    Cheers,

    Max
