Govt to fly home Myanmar citizens stranded in five Asian states

The government readies relief flights for Myanmar citizens facing difficulty returning home from five Asian countries, amid the ban on international commercial flights due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Civil Aviation said on April 25.

The aviation department said it will carry out relief flights in next month for Myanmar citizens stranded in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Bangkok, and India.

The airlines available for the mercy mission are All Nippon Airways, Myanmar National Airlines (MNA), and Myanmar Airways International (MAI).
