Myanmar on Sunday captured four bronze medals at the start of the 30th Southeast Asian Games in the Philippines.
Three of the medals came from the Arnis and one in Sepak Takraw.
In Arnis, Van Lian Khwal bagged one bronze in men’s +65 kilogramme live stick division while Thet Oo Naing also secured another bronze in men’s 65 kilogramme live stick. Completing the arnis medal harvest is another bronze from Win Thet Paing in men’s 60 kilogramme live stick division.
Likewise, the Myanmar Sepak Takraw Team also managed to salvage a bronze in Hook Sepak Takraw.
The 30th SEA Games in the Philippines formally opened late Sunday in Manila and will conclude on December 11.
