Officials find no cases of coronavirus in Myanmar

Myanmar health authorities have found no cases of coronavirus in the country even as the outbreak of the disease in China’s Wuhan city has worsened, a senior health official said Thursday.

Daw Khin Khin Gyi, deputy director of Contagious Disease Prevention and Eradication under the Department of Public Health, said strict surveillance measures are being enforced at international airports, seaports and border crossings to prevent the disease from entering the country.
