In the past two years, the number of tourists visiting Myanmar has dropped, so CCI France Myanmar, the French chamber of commerce, has formed a partnership with the Myanmar Tourism Marketing Association to launch the #CometoMyanmar video contest to promote the country as a tourist destination.
The competition is only open to Myanmar nationals and participants have to shoot a three-minute video showing what makes Myanmar attractive. The selected videos will be used overseas to promote Myanmar as a tourist destination.
“We would like to show how beautiful Myanmar is and we want to promote the country as a tourist destination. This is why we chose the event hashtag #CometoMyanmar,” said Guillaume Rebiere, executive director of CCI France Myanmar.
