The weather in Myanmar features a tropical monsoon climate with three seasons.
June to October: This is monsoon season which peaks from July to September. Mandalay, Pyay and the area between receive the least amount of rain. Rain can make the roads dangerous to drive.
October to February: Warm during the day. Not so humid. Yangon often reaches 40C (104F) but Bagan and Mandalay may be hotter while hill towns in the Shan State are cooler.
March to May: Extremely hot, with little chance of rain.
