Western Myanmar: Chin, Rakhaing and Ayeyarwady
The golf of Bengal, this coastal strip of the East of Myanmar, faces India, and is composed of 3 distinct States: Chin on the North, Ayeyarwady on the South, and Rakhaing in-between.
In the South, Môn and Burmese ethnic group essentially live of field work (mostly of rice field) and of fishing. This area has also beautiful beaches like at Changtha and NgweSaung, but the most beautiful is, without a doubt, the beach of Ngapali. A bit more on the north is the Rakhaing state, also rich in flora and fauna.
Do not miss to visit Mrauk-U, remarkable archaeological site, and ancient royal city, which hill is crowned by religious buildings. An architectural as well as environmental beauty.
